Current is an elegant fashion show with a 250-foot runway and it will take place November 19 at The Articulate, 324 Jefferson St./Old Town. This show will feature the latest looks from Akinz, Apricot Lane, Blue Harvest Apparel, Cira Ltd., Edge Optics, Heyday, Magnolia Moon, Madd Style, Repeat Boutique, Storm Men’s Shop, and Tula. Additionally, showcasing designers Anabella Poletti Design House, Stephanie Carlson, and Topo Designs will be participating as will stylists and salons, including Rebecca Jay Makeup Artistry, Jen Brawner and Van Allen of Ethereal Day Spa, Ray Hornback of Voltage Salon, Sarah Jayne Mein and Abby Martin of Allegory Salon, and Murat Tercan of Enchante: A European Salon. The event’s goal is to raise fund for Save the Poudre,a local non-profit whose mission is to protect and restore the Cache la Poudre River. “The Poudre” is the only river in Colorado designated as a federal “wild and scenic” river, and it is threatened to be de-watered by a proposed reservoir project near Ted’s Place. An open bar featuring beer from New Belgium Brewing, a food truck, a sizable silent auction featuring products from local restaurants, boutiques, artist, and autographed Broncos memorabilia, tickets to Disney Theme Parks, and more will be featured. The event’s after party will be at Fusion Night Club, 351 Linden St. Event: November 19, The Articulate. Doors: 7 pm. Show: 8:30 pm.
