One of my favorite things to indulge in any given morning in Fort Collins? Beignets. You know, those fluffy, powdery pillows of heaven you can find at Lucile’s? Well good news— we can look forward to more delicious food served by Lucile’s Creole Cafe outside of breakfast and lunch time.
Staring this week, Lucile’s will be open for dinner on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Their dinner menu will include dishes like Crawfish Cakes, Creamy Maque Choux, Andouille Po’ Boy Sliders, Barbecue Shrimp, and Smoked Salmon Crêpes. There will also be some re-fashioned Lucile’s classics like Chicken Robicheaux, Crawfish Étouffée, and Shrimp Creole. We can also look forward to a new New Orleans-style cocktail list and dessert menu. We’re talking cocktails like Sazeracs, Pimm’s Cup, Rum Punch, Chef Derek’s brother, Elliot Hardin. How does Baked Blackberry Cobbler, Caramel Custard, Pot du Crème, and Bananas New Orleans sound to satisfy our sweet craving?
