The French Nest

The French Nest Open-Air Market happens once a month during the summer season and usually falls on every third Saturday. Open 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. in Civic Center Park (225 Laporte Ave), the market decorates Old Town West with booths that feature goods from a myriad of creatives.

A stroll among the modest white tops will send your senses soaring as brilliant colors from oil paintings and meticulously crafted sculptures catch your eye. You might find the perfect vintage, up-cycled piece of furniture or kitchenware to complete your new home look. Hand made jewelry, pottery or clothing make the perfect, unique gift for your loved ones. Take a moment to stop at the face painting booth for the kids. Then, your nose might lead you to the fresh baked goods and roasted coffee area, all the while being serenaded by live, acoustic music. With our Colorado sunshine, one can’t go wrong at the only outdoor artisan market of its kind in Northern Colorado. Founded in 2008 by four sisters who grew up in Niwot, CO, The French Nest hub is still going strong.
