Last year, the National Park Service turned 100 years old. Take the time before the year ends to come celebrate the start of its second century by visiting one of Colorado’s National Parks on August 25. On this day, all National Park Service sites will offer free admission to all guests. The fee waivers include commercial tour fees, entrance fees, and transportation entrance fees. Free days allow the parks to be accessible to more people.
The participating parks in Colorado include: Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, Colorado National Monument, Dinosaur National Monument, Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve, Mesa Verde National Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.
Request the Friday off from work and bring the family to one of the parks above for a fun trip to create new and unforgettable memories. For more information, visit nps.gov.
