Get your best Halloween costume ready because the 15th annual Holler!ween music festival is almost here, and this year, they are doubling up. For the first time, it will be a two-day event over the weekend of October 20-21 and have a second, singer-songwriter stage in addition to their main stage. Hosted by Fort Collins musician Michael Kirkpatrick along with the Sustainable Living Association, this is a gathering of our Northern Colorado musical community.
Music by The Holler! and many other bands takes place in heated tents, but be prepared with layers because this is camping outside in October. For those of you who haven’t been, it would greatly behoove you to make this party a priority. Glowing pumpkins, local brews, music, dancing and fun through the wee hours of the morn are the perfect recipe for a guaranteed epic time. Shuttle service from Old Town Fort Collins is available (must be arranged in advance) through Bands for Biodiesel to get you to the party located at Graves Dairy Land in Bellvue. Doors are at 6 p.m. on Friday and noon on Saturday. You may come early on Friday to set up camp or anytime Saturday. Contact EricS@BiodieselForBands.org to confirm your reservation on the Holler!ween shuttle and bring two or more non-perishable food items for the Food Bank. Tickets include camping and your first beer and are available at: brownpapertickets.com/event/3077798.
