The OpenStage Theatre and Company cast brings the drama of The Crucible to life at the Lincoln Center’s Magnolia Stage. Set in Salem, 1692, The Crucible may just be the all-time most famous retelling of  the infamous Salem Witch Trials. This classic production by Arthur Miller (also responsible for Death of a Salesman and All My Sons) was the 1953 recipient of the Tony Award, but is still touted as being just as relevant today, over six decades later. OpenStage is the longest running live theater company in Northern Colorado, with over 40 years and many shows under their belts. The Crucible is their first offering for the 2018 calendar year. As this is a show with intense and challenging themes, a parental advisory suggests mature audiences only. (OpenStage does, however, also offer shows for those of all ages.)

The Crucible opened at Lincoln Center the first week of February and will continue through February 17, 2018. Showtimes are 7:30 pm Friday and Saturday, with a matinee showing 2 pm on Sunday, February 11, 2018.
