Summer is here and Chipper’s Lanes is bringing outstanding additions to some of their locations. With five fantastic places to have fun on the northern Front Range, the family- owned and operated bowling center has developed far beyond a few bumper-filled lanes. The Fort Collins Horsetooth location opens its state-of-the-art laser tag facility in mid-June, with the Greeley location to follow late summer of this year. Thirty laser tag vests in a multi-level arena will make the facility a destination spot for anyone who wants to beat the heat and challenge friends and family members in the dark. An expanded arcade will accompany the addition, providing ultimate family fun on those hot summer days.
Have you ever considered the bowling and events center for live music? The newest Chipper’s in Greeley has live music year-round every Friday night. In Fort Collins, the College Avenue location features live music every Thursday night on a raised stage in the middle of the lanes. You can continue to bowl “under” the stage as the band plays. A partnership with 99.9FM The Point brings The Big Lebowlski to Chipper’s with cash prizes and late night bowling during a live broadcast.
Corporate & Special Events Director, Shauna Gray says, “Chipper’s has become one of the great family entertainment centers in the area. Where else can you bowl, eat, drink, play pool, enjoy some video games and challenge someone to a game of laser tag?” Chipper’s Horsetooth is adding 130 new arcade games, upgrading the entire facility including the addition of two party rooms and adding new and improved lanes.
“All summer, we are doing Kids Bowl Free,” says Gray. “Register your child on the website and they can get two free games of bowling every single day, all summer long. We encourage kids to stay active all summer long.” Go to kidsbowlfree.com for more information and to upgrade to a family pass, allowing the entire gang to participate in bowling.
