With the season of gift giving just around the corner, there is no better time than the present to start preparing for the holidays and Old Firehouse Books, located at 232 Walnut Street, is here to lend a helping hand. If you enjoy making your own gifts or decorations, Old Firehouse Books has created five uniquely themed classes lead by retired teacher Beth Martin. Each class will teach you how to repurpose old books and turn them into wonderful gifts, wreaths, ornaments and more! Classes run every Monday evening throughout the month of November starting November 2 and ending November 30. Each class starts at 6pm sharp and costs $15; the prolific craftsperson can participate in all five classes for $60.
