As August winds down, the Summer Concert Series at Heritage Park will still be on fire when Little Kids Rock, iZCALLi, and The Burroughs entertain the masses at a free evening of music. Music will be from 4 to 8 pm, admission is free, and all ages are welcome. Little Kids Rock is a non-profit organization nationally that has local presence at Tavelli Elementary. Students in the program learn to play and perform rock music, including at special events and in front of various crowds in the area. Many of the kids are aspiring to be pro musicians one day. iZCALLi is an edgy, Latin-infused rock band out of Denver and features a hard-hitting trio fronted by Miguel Avina and his sister, Brenda, with Luigi Ramirez on drums. The Burroughs are a nine piece soul/funk/jazz rock band comprised of some of the area’s most talented instrumentalists and the enigmatic Johnny Burroughs as the incredible front man leading the charge. Don’t miss this special night of music with three fun, exciting young acts. Heritage Park (Northside Aztlan): 112 E. Willow Street, Fort Collins. Information: fcgov.com.
