As students return to campus this fall, they will notice two new restaurants in residence on the south end of Old Town at 230 S. College Avenue — Salsa Brava Fresh Mexican Grill and Urban Egg, A Daytime Eatery. The award-winning restaurants share one kitchen and one vision: serving fresh, locally sourced, seasonal ingredients in an upscale, casual environment.
“We have always maintained the same philosophy in all of our restaurants. We create innovative and fresh menu items using locally sourced ingredients,” said owner Randy Price. “We hire sincere and genuine staff that can deliver outstanding guest service, create casual and energetic environments and have fun. We treat our associates as family and our guests as friends.”
While the restaurants may be new to Fort Collins, they are just the latest locations for Rocky Mountain Restaurant Group, locally owned and operated in Colorado since 2002 by Randy and Liz Price. These restaurant concepts not only bring along top talent like Chefs Zach Wellmann and Beau Karcher, but also a strong reputation for award-winning food and service from their other multiple locations across the Front Range.
Best Breakfast Restaurant, Best Mexican Restaurant, Best Service, Best Gluten Free, Best Caterer, Best Green Chile, Best Red Chile, Best Fish Taco, Best Margarita and #10 Best Breakfast Concept in the US are just a few of the awards earned over the years.
“We are excited to share our innovative approach to food and beverage with such a great community. Our son played football at CSU, and my wife Liz and I have always loved Fort Collins,” Price said. “We are committed to giving back to the communities we are lucky enough to call home and could not be happier that Old Town Fort Collins is the newest addition to our family of restaurants.”
All menu items are made from scratch in-house. Salsa Brava never cooks with lard or MSG and is committed to the motto of “Eat Fresh, Live Well.”
