TABBY ROAD ANIMAL HOSPITAL’S WELLINGTON MAIN STREET SUMMER CONCERT SERIES

Downtown Wellington is throwing out the welcome mat this summer with a monthly series of concerts. The Tabby Road Animal Hospital’s Wellington Main Street Summer Concert Series will feature a tribute act paired with an original Northern Colorado band each month. Starting with Colorado based My Blue Sky, an award-winning band that honors the music of the Allman Brothers family of bands including The Allman Brothers Band, Gregg Allman (as a solo artist), Gov’t Mule, and more. The band earned the support of Gregg Allman himself after he met My Blue Sky and reviewed the band in 2015. When Allman Brothers Band drummer and co-founder Butch Trucks passed away earlier this year, My Blue Sky was called on to host “A Tribute To Butch Trucks” which included many special guests including members of String Cheese Incident, Firefall, The Samples, and other artists that had a connection to Butch.

Matt Skinner Band is currently working on two new EP’s in follow-up to their 2013 release Native Stranger as they kick off the show with their infectious brand of Americana music with a Colorado twist.

Join the fun at this free concert on Saturday, June 15 starting at 6:30 p.m. at Centennial Park in downtown Wellington.
