Loveland’s Rialto Cinema presents its 2017 Summer Cinema Series of 30+ themed movies shown on different days of the week. Throughout June and July, a wide variety of movies from different genres and decades will be screened at the restored 1920s theater courtesy of the theater’s new digital cinema projection system. Sundays screen films from the Golden and Silver ages of cinema, Tuesdays offer twice-daily screenings for popular children’s movies, Wednesdays are reserved for independent and regional films, and Fridays are packed with blockbuster hits.
“Our goal was to offer a summer cinema lineup that was as diverse as our audience’s tastes,” said Rialto Theater Manager, Bryan Zellmer. “We listen to the community and try to provide what they are looking for as well as constantly ask for their feedback.”
Tickets to Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday screenings are priced at $6. Tuesdays are completely free of charge to both screenings at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
