While City Park Pool has closed its doors to Fort Collins’ residents for the 2017 season, it will be welcoming your four-legged friends for one last hurrah. The annual Pooch Plunge will take place August 27 from 4 to 6:30 p.m.  During this yearly event, your pups will be able to splash and swim through hundreds of floating tennis balls alongside their dear friends.

The event is sponsored by CSU’s James L. Voss Veterinary Teaching Hospital, and members of CSU’s veterinary team will be onsite during the event to provide medical services in case pets need it.

Sponsors of the event will also be gifting the first 400 people in the pool with doggie bags filled with biscuits, toys, and the annual edition of the Pooch Plunge magazine.

You can purchase your ticket at Mulberry Pool and Edora Pool Ice Center for $8. The ticket admits one and one human. Tickets for the event are limited, so get yours ASAP! For more information about City Park Pool and the Pooch Plunge, visit fcgov.com/cityparkpool.
