The 5th Annual ARISE Music Festival sold out last month ushering in thousands of fans from around the country for three days of music, yoga, workshops, and art in the gorgeous foothills of Loveland, Colorado. The weather got a little crazy, the community stuck together, the stages of performers, local acts and national headliners wowed the crowd each day into the night, and the myriad activities stretched our minds and bodies out of our comfort zones. All of this contributed to a party that every year has purpose, inspires change, and encourages us all to bring our voices to our everyday lives which gives space for others to do to the same. Only one complaint from this loyal festival attendee, and that goes out to all of us who co-create this festival together each year; do not litter your cigarette butts, straws, cups, or any other trash. Pack it in and pack it out! I encourage participants to please remember that this is always a LEAVE NO TRACE event. ARISE already announced event headliners Slightly Stoopid and Thievery Corporation for 2018 and a limited number of loyalty tickets are now available on the official event website at arisefestival.com. Or feel free to wait and spend more money on this wonderful festival – because you know you’re going to go – unless it sells out!
