Local organization Belu Olsa will hold the second annual Colorado Holistic Fair on April 28 and 29 at the Larimer County Fairgrounds in Brighton. Fairgoers will have the opportunity to learn about and take part in a variety of alternative healing and self-exploration practices, from tarot and palm readings to reflexology and aromatherapy.
Local artisans and vendors will sell their wares. An as yet undisclosed lineup of speakers will give lectures, offering strategies for taking care of ourselves and our environment.
Tickets are available for $7 per day or $12 dollars for the weekend. Admission is free for children under 12.
Belu Olsa is the vision of Carol Ostrom, who has an extensive background in metaphysics and spiritualism. The organization has been active in northern Colorado since 1982, when the first fair took place on the CSU campus.
Belu Olisa has been organizing canned food drives since the mid-1990s and continues to do so today.
