Anderson East and his 7 piece band are performing tonight at Washington’s. They are burning it down to a sold out crowd with their soulful R&B sound. The performance featured an Incredible B3 Organ.

“This guy is white guy soul to the max,” said Michael Short, from the New Scene. “He is really digin’ the crowd and the venue.”

A Nashville-based rythm and blues musician, Anderson East is best known for “Satisfy Me.” Many attribute his music as a throwback to the early days of rock with a heady blend of rhythm and blues, country, rock, and soul.

East has a very promising career ahead of him. His sound has old soul.

The Colorado leg of his tour will take him to Telluride tomorrow. He will perform at Club Red in the Telluride Conference Center. According to East’s web site, after Telluride he will continue on to Kansas City, Columbia, South Burlington Vermont, and Boston in early April.
