This Weekend in Fort Collins – 6/22-6/24

As another work week passes, another weekend approaches. This weekend in Fort Collins is all about one thing. Beer! The 29th annual Colorado Brewer’s Festival is taking over Downtown Fort Collins and will be bringing along tons of fun with it. The event will run from Friday to Sunday, offering more than just beer tasting. (Don’t worry, there will be plenty of that too). Here is everything you need to know.

The Summit at Colorado Brewer’s Festival

When: Friday, June 22

The Summit will kick the event off on Friday evening. From 5-8 p.m, enjoy beer from an assortment of Colorado breweries – many of which are from right here in Fort Collins. This is a great opportunity to meet the creators behind some of your favorite brews. Who knows, maybe you’ll find a new favorite! You can take a look at The Summit beer list here. In addition to beer, there will be appetizers from a variety of Fort Collins’ finest eateries. Tickets can be purchased here, beginning at $75 for the day.

Breakfast and Brews at Colorado Brewer’s Festival

When: Saturday, June 23

On Saturday, enjoy beer-inspired breakfast at Union Bar & Soda Fountain to get your day started. Nobody should drink on an empty stomach, don’t miss out on this! The breakfast will run from 10 -11:30 a.m, and the fun will continue immediately after that at Washington Park. Food will be curated by Union’s most esteemed chefs, and beer will be provided by Funkwerks, Wibbey Brewing, and Verboten Brewing. Tickets are going quickly, act fast.

Colorado Brewer’s Festival at Washington Park

When: Saturday/Sunday, June 23/24

The main event. If you call yourself a beer lover, this is for you. The festival will be open on Saturday and Sunday, beginning at noon on both days. Over 40 breweries will be featured with over 150 different types of beers available to taste. Each brewery will have their own 10×10 ft. tent, giving you the chance to mingle with the most talented brew masters in Colorado. Every brewery will feature different beers on Saturday and Sunday, so each day is a new experience.
