It’s a busy weekend with PLENTY to do in Northern Colorado. It’s hard to sum it all up in one little post. So, we are sharing the highlights.
Kicking off the first weekend in August is the 2018 Irish Gathering – the 10th annual celebration of Irish history and culture in Fort Collins. Also this weekend is the ARISE Music Festival at Sunrise ranch in Loveland. This will begin Friday and run through the entire weekend. Also returning to Fort Collins is the 6th annual Bike-In Music Festival by Foco Cafe. Learn more about those events and more below.

2018 Irish Gathering
August 3rd – August 5th
Soak in Irish history and culture during this family-friendly event. Live music will be provided all weekend long, with appearances from The Young Dubliners, The Prodigals, House of Hamill, and more. And yes, there will be plenty of Guinness to go around. Ticket prices vary, depending on the time and day.
Friday: Event begins at 5 p.m. Tickets are $5 if you arrive from 5-7 p.m, $8 anytime after that.
Saturday & Sunday: Event begins at 10 a.m. Tickets are $12 on both days.
*kids under 10 years old get in free on all days.

ARISE Music Festival
August 3rd – August 5th
Mark your calendars for ARISE Music Festival’s 6th Year Celebration this August 3-5 at Sunrise Ranch in Loveland, Colorado. The 2018 ARISE Festival lineup features headliners Slightly Stoopid and Thievery Corporation.
ARISE Music Festival is a musically diverse, festival-wonderland experience. Featuring 7 stages of live music, yoga, camping, workshops, theme camps, art gallery and installations, activism and more on 100+ beautiful mountain valley acres in Loveland, Colorado. Frederic Chiu @ Griffin Concert Hall
Witness the multi-talented Frederic Chiu at the Griffin Concert hall this Friday. In addition to being a pianist, Chiu is also well known as a philosopher, artist, and chef. He has performed on some of the biggest stages in the world spanning across 5 continents, as well as a plethora of small, tight-knit venues in unique areas. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased here.
Art in the Square
August 4th – August 5th
Stop by Old Town Square this weekend for an interactive display of fine art and handcrafted goods. The annual event will feature work from a wide array of different art backgrounds – including paintings, sculptures, photographs, woodwork, and more. Bring some extra spending money, you never know if a piece will catch your eye! Event will run from 11 am to 7 pm on both days.
Hop Grenades Anniversary Party
In honor of their one year anniversary, Hop Grenade is putting together a kid’s party – for adults! The event will run from 10:30 am to midnight on Saturday. Be prepared to get a little wet, as they will be putting together a massive water balloon fight early in the afternoon. Dry off and enjoy live music by the Flying Hot Saucers later in the evening. There will be plenty more surprises along the way, don’t miss out!
FoCo Cafe Bike in Music Festival
The 6th annual Bike-In music festival is back this weekend. From 2-7 p.m, enjoy musical performances from Good Gravy, The Kity Project, Grass Blue Anthem, and Conrad Pierce. Guests will be treated with food trucks, beers, kid-friendly activities, and a dessert auction. This year’s festival is happening at The Burrow on 1502 North Shields St. The event fee is $20, which you can pay here.
