Saturday, September 1

The Windsor Harvest Festival in downtown Windsor starts on Saturday and Ends on Monday. It is Windsor’s largest annual event. This festival has been going for 97 years! It’s a must see with music, food and much more. For more information: https://www.windsorharvestfest.com/index.html

Catch the Yard Sale at Fort Collins Nursery. It’s going on all weekend and it’s the biggest sale of the year! The Yard Sale offers huge discounts on all plants, trees and shrubs as well as a wide variety of selected gardening goodies. Tour de Fat 2018 will tour through the streets of Fort Collins from 2-8pm. It’s a celebration of great beer, good people, and humankind’s most wonderful invention – the bicycle!  Entering its 19th season, the Tour de Fat has raised more than $5 million dollars for local bike non-profits since its inception. This year combines many favorite past ensemble acts like Sedan Halen, The Handsome Little Devils, Daredevil Chicken, and KOLARS – plus new and emerging musical talent from around the country. Brett Dennen and Rob Drabkin will be at the Mishawaka at 6pm. Singer-songwriter Brett Dennen is a contemplative introvert by nature, an adventurer by soul, and the great communicator by effect. Much of his music stems inspiration from indulging in the natural environment around him – from camping trips along the Sierra Nevada mountain range to climbing Everest and Kilimanjaro. $1 of each ticket will be donated to Kids at Heart. Kind Mountain Band at the Barrel will be in Estes Park starting at 4pm. This will be a good day to escape up to the mountains and listen to some music.The Kind Mountain Band plays boot stompin, rough around the edges (and all the way through), ol’ timey, rock and roll, booty shakin’, bluegrassish music! The Great Salmon Famine will be at Foothills Mall as part of the Summer Sundays series at 6pm. The Great Salmon Famine is a five-piece fusion funk band based out of Fort Collins CO. GSF designs their high-energy repertoire to include something for everyone, with smooth transitions encompassing many different musical styles. GSF wants you to dance! Monday, September 3

The second annual FORTitude 10K is a Labor Day road race through the streets of Fort Collins from 8a to 2pm, finishing in Colorado State University’s Sonny Lubick Field at Canvas Stadium. The race also features the USA Pro Race Chase with professional runners competing for one of the largest non-marathon prize purses in Colorado and the Salute to Labor Day which honors first responders in the Colorado community. Mug Night: Stand-Up Comedy will be at Hodi’s Half Note at 7pm. There will be an open music Jam from 10p-1a. It’s a great way to get a little bit of Comedy and Music all in a single night.
