Fort Collins Nursery’s Rock Garden Concert Series

The 5th season of Fort Collins Nursery’s Rock Garden Concert Series is well underway.  For three nights spread out through the summer, Fort Collins Nursery turns into a unique concert venue called, “The Rock Garden,” outdoors nestled along the banks of Dry Creek and the Cache la Poudre River, surrounded by beautiful plants, trees, and wildlife from the Nursery.


Alysia Kraft raised funds for Project Self- Sufficiency and to come are Grant Farm with Mike Clark and the Sugar Sounds to benefit Matthews House on July 11. Sean Kelly of the Samples with Liz Barnez closes out the 2019 series on August 1 with funds going to The Vegetable Connection. 


Sean Kelly of the Samples is the grand finale of the Summer Concert Series on August 1 with funds going to The Vegetable Connection. Sean is known for his melodic voice, his unique style of guitar playing as well as his ability to craft a song. Described as a ‘rock, reggae and folk singer/songwriter’ Sean is the front man for The samples. His lyrics dreamily transport the listener to feel light, free and joyful. The Samples will release a new album in 2019, “Indian Summer,” Dates TBD. 

Grant Farm blends Folk, Bluegrass, Americana and Country seamlessly. Grant Farm are proudly sharing their new, critically acclaimed album, ‘BROKE IN TWO’ released as a double vinyl, with Fort Collins.

This band is no stranger to Fort Collins. The drummer Drummer Sean “Magic” Macaulay lives here and guitarist/vocalist Tyler “The Champ” Grant, a National Flatpicking Champion, lived here for four years. Both are heavily involved in the music scene across the Front Range. Tyler impressively writes, records and produces music and wears many hats as a musicprenuer. Grant is excited about playing this show as it feels like coming home.

Fort Collins Nursery chooses non-profits dedicated to improving life for vulnerable populations. A portion of proceeds from ticket sales plus all drink and live auction sales at the concerts goes to the benefiting organization. In 2018 four concerts raised approximately $3,000 in ticket sales and $5,000 in drink sales.


Fort Collins Nursery’s Rock Garden Concert Series is family friendly, for a good cause, and well-behaved pets are welcome.
