Blues, Folk-Rock and Country while you shop

Do some dancing while you’re shopping at the Larimer County Farmer’s Market on Sept. 8, 2018.

The Colorado Green Band will put on a free show from 9a-12p in the parking lot of the Larimer County complex.

The band members are Paul Honeycutt (vocals/guitars), Tom Surace (vocals/bass), Deb Bryant (vocals/drums) and Phil Broste (pedal steel guitar).

According to their profile on their Facebook page, the Colorado Green Band formed when Paul put together a duo with Tom for “Green Drinks at Eco Thrift.” It expanded when they discovered Deb on Craigslist and YouTube.

Paul was also a member of the popular Celtic group “Lalla Rookh” and was one of the founding members of the original World Fusion band, “Tuatha.” He has played everything from Reggae to Rockabilly to Contra Dance Music.

Tom has a background in jazz performing with his father, a pianist, and also playing in local blues and rock bands like “Daddy Rab” and “Two Shots Blues Band.”

Inspired by her drumming cousin, Deb has played with blues, rock and jam bands as well as a pop-jazz ensemble and a Rockabilly group.

The free performance will get the crisp air Playing a mix of Country-Blues and Folk-Rock the band mixes original songs with interesting covers.
