Heading toward the completion of it’s 3rd Annual Summer Sunday’s concert series, Foothills has scheduled a grand finale live music event, the Equinox Festival, on Saturday, September 22 at 3p.m. on the East Lawn.
The free Equinox Festival will feature three headliner bands, free family entertainment, including face painters, balloon artists and more, plus food samples from the great mix of restaurants at Foothills.
“The Fort Collins community has made the East Lawn a favorite gathering spot to relax and enjoy live music on warm summer nights.” said John Gaffney, Sr. Asset Manager, Alberta Development Partners. “The Equinox Festival is our way of saying thank you for a great summer,” said Gaffney.
Headlining the Festival is Gasoline Lollypops, an alt-country band that’s both high energy and heartfelt. Co-headliners include The Burroughs, who bill themselves as featuring “sweaty soul music” and Whippoorwill, known for non-traditional banjo, long harmonica riffs, distorted guitar, and three-part harmonies.
Foothills will provide a complimentary shuttle to those coming from the CSU-Illinois State game on 9/22.
