When you step into the Lyric on North College, you will see what Fort Collins Movie watching is really all about. Ditch the “chain” movie theaters and try something with some local flavor for a change. Sip a beer, eat some food and watch some really cool indie movies. Production quality and values on indie movies these day are far improved. A night at the Lyric is a true Northern Colorado Experience.
The Lyric is starting up a Cult Film Tuesday series! They’ll be screening movies that are cult, or they think have a good chance of becoming cult. This August they’ll be covering some of the works of David Lynch!
It’s incredibly exciting to see the Lyric bringing in the newest Spike Lee joint, BlacKkKlansman! It’s the TRUE story of a black police officer infiltrating the Klu Klux Klan in Colorado Springs. The Fort Collins premiere on August 9th at 7pm, one day before the film’s release! Can’t make it on the 9th? They’ll have a full slate of screenings starting the next day!
Every Monday starting August 13th
There are so many good films getting released these days that the Lyric just don’t have enough time to screen them all! To try to accommodate a few more films, they’re carving out time nearly every week for the ones that are off the beaten path. It’s called Niche Night, and it happens nearly every Monday at 6:30pm. Tickets are generally $10 General Admission and $8 for Students and Seniors, but those prices may vary depending on the movie.
